Just a thought

So about me & my life,

I had very loving & understanding parents who did their absolute best to make sure my sisters and I had a loving childhood.

No, we did not have money to go on fancy vacations nor did we have money to go to the mall and buy whatever we wanted. But we did have the love which is something

some may not have had when they were growing up.

We had understanding when we did things as a teenager that some may have not had.

My mom was my Girl Scout Leader with her best friend Sandy. My dad taught me how to fish. But I didn't really have girlfriends when I was growing up, My first love was Eric he was so sweet and caring and attentive. And to be honest I could not tell you exactly what happened for us not to be together now. I meet Chuck he was older and had " the bad boy vibe" and I decided to rebel against my parents for being protective, you know when you are a teenager you blame your parents for everything. Even if it wasn't their fault.

So anyway I met Chuck and we date a few months and then he decided he was going to leave town, And as I said being a rebellious teenager told him " not without me" and we

took off and we were gone for 3 weeks, yes in that 3 weeks I worried my parents, my family.

But hey I was determined to become a woman or what I thought a woman was supposed to be anyway. We returned under protest to Missouri via my Aunt Francis my mom's sister and her husband Forest, at the beginning of the 4th week of September 1983. And 2 weeks later I married the " bad boy". Our wedding day was October 7, 1983, in my mom's best friends living room.  My first child Amanda was born July 20, 1984, and my second child Charles was born February 13, 1987. We lived a fairly normal happy life or at least I thought it was until June of 1992 then I had one of those hard curve balls thrown at me and we filed for divorce because we both were so very unhappy. But it didn't end there, even though we were not married we stayed together because we had children and then yes I was one of the young and dumb ones who thought the 2 nd time around would be better, Remarried on December 31, 2001, Divorced again on December 5, 2005. but was it over over or just not good legally as husband and wife? We tried until the end of 2006 to actually make it work, IN 2008 I made the decision to move on with my life. And left in April of 2008. I had been talking to someone for a little over a year, Don & I  got married on June 14, 2008, in Las Vegas on the spur of the moment impulse. But life keeps throwing those hard curve balls and at times I'm not sure if I can keep going so this is my life.  As you read the blogs I hope you get to know me and maybe see a little of yourself in the blogs and my reasons for taking the roads I have travelled.

My name is Patrica, I am 55 live in Missouri and I have 5 Rottweilers, 3 cats, Lots of grandchildren, been married 3 times.
